In 2012, I started my own salon venture named ‘JusTTresses’ that aims at offering top-notch and premium services in everything related to hair. I am a braid specialist, a celebrity Hairstylist, and indeed the hands behind famous names such as Rikya Taylor. I provide multiple other services such as seamless natural hair care or extension services and sell products such as edge control bonnets and edge wraps. I have embarked on a mission and believe in the philosophy that healthy hair and great style should coexist- this is what I strive to empower my customers with. “Treasure Your Tresses” is our tagline and indeed reflective of my brand’s identity and its spirit in the true sense.
As a child, I always played with my mom’s hair, and not just it, I ended up doing various pretty creative patterns. However, only when I was twelve years, I started to notice that my work was really good, neat, and indeed beautiful. Little did I know what started as a hobby would convert into a full-time profession- it started with doing my family and my church member’s hair at a minimal rate and then I decided to dive deeper and pursued it full time after school. I even went to Atlanta Technical college for cosmetology and came out with flying colors.
